Fenwick and Ravi (a FAR-registered trademark) was established in 1990 and primarily focused on product development. The headquarters of FAR are located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, along with regional offices in Maharashtra, Delhi, Gujarat, and Tamil Nadu. FAR specialises in the manufacture of CNC machining tool accessories like steady rests, barfeeders, angle milling heads, and zero-point clamping systems as its primary products.

Steady Rest

Steady rests are normally used for efficient machining of long slender shafts. Conventional steady rests are positioned manually. An operator adjusts three screws that are placed 120° apart.
